OBL Hearts JFK

I think we've finally come up with a name to put to the "foreign leaders" who want Kerry elected.

I have no doubt that the Kerry campaign will instantly and sincerely denounce this attempt to influence the election. But jeez. Just goes to show that not all October surprises are planned by the DNC or the RNC.

A House Divided

Our house is breaking 2 to 1 in favor of John Kerry, your humble blogger being on the short end of it. Grace, being seven, can't be expected to make much of a case for her candidate. Her mother, when pressed, has her reasons, the war being one of them. As it happens, that pretty much sums up my reason for voting for the President.

There are a number of reasons to be unhappy with this president and this administration. If I made a list and you made a list, they wouldn't be the same list, but I'm sure there would be overlaps, no matter who you are. When you get down to it, though, I've been convinced that the war, or let's just say the response to the challenge of Islamism is the most important thing on our plate this election by a margin large enough to make my list not very consequential to my decision.
