From the Belly of the Beast 

Or the thoracic cavity. Of the lamb. This all remains to be seen.

I work in the Citigroup Center in New York and what an interesting morning we had. More automatic weapons than you'd see in a Jerry Bruckheimer feature. The streets around us are closed to trucks. Deliveries have to be unloaded a block away and hand trucked in after a close inspection. I'd say the building is about half populated. All our clients have cancelled for the week. It's quiet. Too quiet.

Nuck, nuck. Actually, we're probably in the safest building in New York. At least for today.

Update

I must be the only one who hasn't been interviewed yet and I'm getting peeved. I've been practicing my brave smile and lip biting compassion.
